Squeaky back brake? The bike now has an Akrapovic full system exhaust which I fitted in January After 1 month ride, I have this serious problem where I would loss the throttle control when slowing down from rpm e. The bike will just rev at rpm and go by itself like a uncontrollable US Air Force drone! I have no choice but to shut the engine off and restart again.

While I was away for the last 2 weeks, I left my bike with my local KTM mechanic hoping that he could resolve that and he kept me updated through Whatsapp. He cleaned the throttle body and adjusted many things around the throttle body, removed the gear indicator temporarily. Yet when I picked the motorcycle yesterday the problem still visible albeit significantly much less less severe.
Suddenly when I reached home, after reading through kevxtx again, I found out the throttle cable push and pull lock nuts one long nut and one stopper nut near the throttle handle was severely loose.
Then I just retighten the nuts. This morning when I tested the bike on highway, city traffic and the problem was resolved significantly. Later I also change the sprocket and new chain set. Afterward the problem completely gone.
Everything is perfect now. Apparently the main cause was the loosen throttle cable lock nuts which I believe loosen when had I adjusted the handlebar kind of to improve the ergonomic few weeks ago right before this issues started.

On the front connector blackstick a pin or something similar next to the white or yellow cable depending on which connecting piece you connect to, male or female down hard to get contact. Use a voltmeter to check the voltage. Put the ground on some none painted metallic part of the engine, and the positive end on one of the needles.
The ignition should be on. The front should be set to 0. The rear should be set to 1. If they're out, you loosen the little torx screw T25 a little and turn the TPS slightly, adjust to correct values. According to the book, the front should be set while the engine is running at normal temperature on idle.
The rear should be set with the engine off, but ignition on. I have to remap my bike. Might as well be written in Latin for all the use it is to me personally But my TPS was so much off that the bike hardly runs on idle.
It even stalls on down shifts. The only solution for me is to adjust the TPS correctly and get it remapped next week. The reason I didn't notice how bad it was is that I first synched the throttle bodies at the tuner's.
He had the vaccum tool. After the synch, TPS can change according to Mar, so that's why I adjusted it there and then incorrectly.
Then we put the bike on the dyno, and I did notice it stalled a few times, but I thought it was the tuner that wasn't used to it or something Much better than when I left the dyno two days ago. But I think it would be hard to adjust the TPS's without removing the airbox. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks cal. After you've removed the lid and the snorkel you need to remove the two trumpets to get the air filter off.
You then take the triangular side doors off and then loosen the hose clamps to the inlets. After doing that you can lift the whole throttle body up and then remove the airbox. From memory I think that's all you need to do, but since it took me several hours to do I have probably forgotten something.
